Oftentimes, someone will brush by a person in the store or notice someone in a restaurant, and they never act on those primal instincts. Sparking sexual curiosity isn't difficult, according to Cinders. I’d never feel comfortable ditching a plane ticket to follow a perfect stranger down those escalators, but I definitely wanted to know what she had in mind for these two travelers. They like to imagine doing things that might not be feasible in real life or that they wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable doing.īy the time we finished this little game, I felt like I was standing right at the escalator with this pair at the airport. People want to read about things that scare them, Cinders explained. Or - it could be down the escalators, out the door and onto the first random hotel shuttle these two strangers see. I was hung up on that glass, but still, Cinders kept going. Later I realized she could plug that same harmless description into a bedroom or onto a part of someone’s body, and it would take on a whole new meaning. “He’s running his thumb across the glass, and he catches her eye,” she said, thoughtfully.Īs she spoke, I considered the words “running his thumb,” and I wondered why it sounded so sensual when it was so innocent. “His sleeves are rolled-up, so he’s got the sexy forearms,” she told me. I imagined an undescriptive figure settling down next to this woman.
